Description

Translator

A professional translator that can translate general text and specific text from Indonesian to English and vice versa in writing

Interpreter

A professional interpreter that can do interpretation especially in community interpreting from Indonesian to English and vice versa

English Professional Practitioner

An English professional practitioner that can communicate in English both in writing and oral that is related to tourism, marketing, business, and public speaking

 Pertaining to the graduate profiles above, the learning process in the English Study Program aims to produce graduates to carry out their profession as translators, interpreters, and English professional practitioners.

ATTITUDE

A

Demonstrating attitude, independence, and scientific and religious behavior that contribute to improving the quality of life in society and preservation of nature and culture, nation, and state based on the academic norms and ethics.  

GENERAL SKILL

GS

To have logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in terms of development or implementation of science and technology which pays attention to and applies values of humanity in accordance with their field of expertise.

SPECIFIC SKILLS

SS-1

Able to apply the areas of expertise in translation, interpreting, and English for professional practitioners that are relevant to science and technology in English language and literature in order to solve problems and to adapt to the situation at hand;

SS-2

Able to take strategic decisions and take advantage of relevant science and technology within the scope of English language and literature in order to design, manage, facilitate, and evaluate learning and science.
