BBF (Bali Business Foundation Study Program)

Warmadewa University’s Bali Business Foundation (BBF) is an international and interdisciplinary study program taught in English and suitable for anyone interested in learning more about entrepreneurship, leadership and gaining valuable professional and life skills. The program offers courses on entrepreneurial skills, innovative leadership, business foundations, project management in a multi-cultural environment and personal and professional success. BBF is offered by Warmadewa University’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities (Fakultas Sastra) and is open to international and local student alike. The program features lectures hosted by Professors at Warmadewa University as well as international guest lecturers. The program also hosts visits to local and international businesses to learn more about entrepreneurship in practice.

 

BBF consists of the following 6 courses:

1. Thinking & Acting like an Entrepreneur 5 ECTS (BBF33B01)
2. Business Foundations in a Changing World 5 ECTS (BBF33B02)
3. Entrepreneurship for Global Challenges 5 ECTS (BBF33B03)
4. Innovational and Inspirational Leadership 5 ECTS (BBF33B04)
5. Intercultural Competence in Project Management 5 ECTS (BBF33B05)
6. Achieving Personal and Professional Success 5 ECTS (BBF41B06)

 

The studies in the program are full-time. Credits for all courses are granted in ECTS points, including 145 study hours per course. Students may choose between 3 - 6 courses (15 – 30 ECTS) in total. All of the courses are on an undergraduate (Bachelor) level.

Warmadewa University has 7 faculties and 15 study programs and has been accredited by College National Accreditation Board under the Decree of BAN-PT No. 446/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/V/2015. The Certificate of the Accreditation prevails for 5 (five) years commencing from 15^th of May 2015 to 15^th of May 2020.

This BBF Program is a colaboration between Warmadewa University and Asia Exchange Ltd with their advisor Peter Vesterbacka, who is known as one of the miracle makers behind the mobile game Angry Birds, and the founder of the startup event Slush; read more.

 

Requirements for international students:

• A minimum age of 18 years
• High School Diploma or a similar certificate
• Sufficient English skills (B2 Level). No language test is required

Requirements for local students:

• A minimum age of 18 years
• Successful completion of first academic year of Bachelor’s degree studies, as BBF courses are advanced courses.
• Sufficient English skills (B2 Level). No language test is required
